Super cute game! Really well made. Discovering the x2 upgrades was super intriguing. Seems that using them on drones is the intended path. Really wanted more kinds of upgrades.

Actually didn't want to finish it, but after 40 minutes and everything unlocked there's little to do. The last interesting thing was the bullet prism.

Either way, 1-2 more zones would be great, but the game is perfect as it is. Great work!

8x drone count 4x drone range 2x tesla rate

There exist a excceedingly serious bug is that the areas the lava passes through immediately turn into stone. I played it twice and I was blocked by the stone formed by the lava, unable to return in the end. Moreover, no return point could be generated in the area I was in, so I couldn't return to the robot's side and couldn't do anything

Thanks for the report, we've fixed it so that the rescue should become available when you're in this situation now.

hey i really liked your game! it was a good couple hours playing through it. my bad if this is unasked for, but i thought id offer some feedback. take it or leave it

things i really like

  • the dark vibe
  • the music and sound effects are awesome
  • the little spider enemies look really cool and intimidating
  • the way light did the light is really cool
  • progression feels very satisfying, i love blasting through a shit ton of rocks
  • seriously the gun feels so satisfying
  • oh my god i love the spider mount
  • love the pathfinding on the way back for the robot arm

critiques

  • the skill tree is a little crowded looking
  • the 2d sprites with the 3dish spiders clash a little in my opinion. i bet this could be really cool though with some minor adjustments though, it kinda reminds me of the amazing world of gumball
  • the ending feels out of nowhere. i wish we could’ve gotten to know the computer a little better. It says its grown close to us, but it didn’t seem like id built any connection with it. i didn’t even get a name from what i remember. maybe a bit of dialogue every once in a while when mining would give it more character?

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it! We'd like to do more with the story in the future, stay tuned :)

Good f job!

Thanks!

Peak game,100% will play again

Thank you!!

Very good game
Extend it a bit more and probably make it endless idk?

Thank you! Yes, we'd like to

Lovely game. I really do enjoy every aspect of it.

Thanks a lot!

Tesla is patching up enemy drones; it's no fun.

A really good game; I was hooked until I finished it.

Thanks for playing!

Thats an awesome game

Thank you!

Great game, really enjoyed it :).

Thanks!

Good game :D

Thank you!!

its so eerie when you have no light or ammo left with the ambient noises but nothing ever happens lol

I want to stay with my new friend, and build a base, and have others come to join us, and make a utopia in wierd glowy caves.

Accidentally hit the menu open and insta clicked new game, reset progress. Definitely put that button somewhere else and require a confirm.

(2 edits)

Sorry about that! We've added a confirmation dialogue to avoid it happening again :/

got an unfortunate sequence of events where i played in fullscreen, wanted to leave the upgrade menu, it first left fullscreen, then it quit the menu, 1 more accidental ESC press, pause menu opens, im starting to hold LMB as usual and click right on the "new game". No confirmation, no nothing, insta new game, will finish it the other day i guess...

Thanks for reporting and sorry for the lost progress - we've added a confirmation dialogue now.

my character got stuck in the lava portion!!!

(1 edit) (+1)

Sorry about that, if you get stuck you can reload the game and your progress should have been saved, but we'll look for a better solution.

addicting lol, try adding endless

Thanks for playing!

It's a nice game. I had fun playing it and the AI(?) not turning out to be evil is a welcome surprise.
But nearing the end you hardly have any idea what's going on, suddenly exploding without any idea why, the upgrade you most need, more light, is not available. Adding to that, thanks to the many colorful resources, you only notice lava once it already surrounds it and because it builds more blocks (I think? again the light issue), you're likely already out of ammo and sawblades don't do much at that stage you can't escape it.
It lacks regular damage upgrades so you have to use your 8x multiplier on base damage to get anywhere.
So.. it's quite fun, but it would need more upgrades for light, base damage, sawblade damage, max energy, perhaps ammo-over-tome and maybe a minimap or a pointer towards the nearest base. Basically, upgrades to make your earlier unlocks not useless later in the game. In turn I'd scrap or extremely buff the collector upgrade as it's pretty useless right now.

Thanks for the useful feedback!

Great game, great indeed. 8x orbiting drones with 4x attack speed and 2x damage were diabolical thing to allow

Thank you!!

I am playing on the browser on chrome, WASD doesn't work and when i try the arrows UP-DOWN also move page up and down - it doesn't focus. I don't know if it's just me cause I don't see any other relevant comments. Vut I thought I'd report it. I looks good, but I can't play it to give feedback unfortunatelly.

ok i refreshed the page before posting the comment and it didn't fix anything. I went on to do some stuff and left the browser on. I went back to it now and WASD works, I don't know what was that all about. The game is awesome btw! One of the best incrimentals I've played!!

Thank you very much!

Thanks for reporting! We'll try to fix this.

just letting u know that it wasn't a one time thing. I came back to play some more and it is happening again. If i notice what fixes the issue i let u know

Sorry about that, we've made a change to try and fix it, so that if it happens again you can try:

1. open a new browser tab

2. switch back to the game tab - the menu should automatically open

3. click resume

amazing incremental one of the best ive seen

Thank you!!

Really liked it! Specially the multiplyers!

Thanks a lot!

Lovely game!

Thank you!!

really fun sense of progression! the pace picks up quickly and only gets faster, without feeling like it's ballooning out of control. the upgrade multipliers are brilliant, there are so many ways to use them that it becomes less about figuring out an overpowered build, and more about choosing *which* overpowered build you want.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Great game had a lot of fun!

Thank you!!

Pretty cool!

Late stage area manages to be a bit overwhelming and a bit of a slog.

Lava is confusing, don't know what is causing it or how best to deal with it.

Thanks for the feedback! We've made a change to make the cause of lava more obvious (by showing it embedded in the rock before you reach it). Once it's released it can damage you, so best is to shoot it from a distance. While liquid, it drops the same resources as when it cools, but becomes harder to destroy once it's cooled.

I hate to only report a bug, but turning off screen shake in the options doesn't seem to do anything. I find screen shake too jarring to play most games that have it.

Thanks for reporting, should be fixed now!

thank you very much for the quick update, it is working now!

Fun game, I would pay for an expanded version!

Thank you!!

Cool game. I had fun playing. Upgrades for most of the game felt cool and useful and interesting.

I got pretty confused once I got to the final area, though. Here's my reaction to that portion of the game:

  • The lava flows were super confusing. I couldn't tell if I was causing them, or if they were random, or if the little spider monsters were summoning them perhaps? I still don't really know.
  • The scene is so zoomed out by that point that it's kind of hard to tell what's going on. Having 1000 items on the screen at a time adds to this confusion. Sometimes I'm getting killed by a little spider monster just because he's so small and I don't see him amount the 1000 items.
  • The whole "Collector" upgrade confused me. I honestly have no idea, still, what that did. I didn't feel like I could see it working. I felt like 99% of the items I picked up were just from my normal magnet behavior.
  • The whole "Tesla" concept also didn't make any sense to me. I couldn't tell if that was doing anything.

Anyway, other than that, good progression and I had fun. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll try and fix these issues.

Good game, would be nice if there was an upgrade that make an arrow which direction the base is. As at the end game it can be hard to tell which way the base is.

Thank you for the feedback! The distance to base upgrade can help judge what direction the base is in, but maybe an arrow would be even better.

Awesome game! Could not put it down

Thank you!!

This was so much fun! I really like that you allow the player to experiment with the 8x upgrades. some of the builds you can make are so broken towards the end. haha. Thank you for making this little gem.

(+1)

Thanks a lot!

(+2)

That 8X multiplier upgrade near the end was just amazing, and left me spoiled for choice.  Do I go for nearly infinite ammo?  Ridiculous Damage?  Wait..  No.  You can apply it to your combat drone count?

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA  THEY'RE GOING TO RUE THE DAY!

That was honestly the _best_ feeling to get from an upgrade, especially when the results turned out as insane as they did.

(+1)

Yeah it was so broken haha. But in the best way possible! So much fun! The combat drone was insane with 8X

8 Combat drones, 4x Tesla power = instant mining ! I even put the 2x to collector speed as it was not fast enough and game was starting to lag because of the amount of gold&al everywhere

I really like the atmosphere of the game. The game also feels immersive.

Thank you!!

Awesome!

Thank you!!
